Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Tradyog (tradyog.com) handles, how it’s used, and the choices you have. In short: your trading journal stays on your own device, we don’t sell your data, and some features load content from trusted third-party services.
1. Information stored on your device
Tradyog works without an account. When you use the site, the following is saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device:
- trades you enter in the journal, and your notes and strategy tags;
- your broker charge settings and exchange rate;
- daily levels you save;
- game scores, coins and badges; and
- your language choice.
This information is not sent to our servers, and we can’t see it. You can download, restore or delete your journal at any time from the Journal page. Clearing your browser data also deletes it, so keep a backup if it matters to you.
2. Information collected automatically
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosting and security services, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you request, to deliver the site, protect it from attacks, and produce basic traffic statistics. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t track you across websites, and doesn’t build a profile of you; it reports aggregated numbers such as page views, referring websites, countries and device types.
3. Third-party services used on the site
Some features load content from other companies. When they load, your browser connects directly to those services, which may receive your IP address and may use cookies under their own privacy policies:
- TradingView: live price ticker, price lookup, news headlines and economic calendar.
- Google Translate: only if you choose a language other than English.
- Binance public market data: live crypto prices in the Level 3 game. No Binance account is needed or connected.
4. Advertising and cookies
Tradyog may show advertisements, including from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
5. When you email us
If you email hello@tradyog.com, we receive your email address and message. Messages are delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing to our email inbox. We use them only to reply and to improve Tradyog, and we don’t add you to mailing lists without your permission.
6. What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent personal information.
- We don’t ask for your broker login, bank details or trading account access.
- We don’t collect your journal data on our servers.
7. Children
Tradyog is meant for adults. It isn’t directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
8. Your rights
Your journal data is fully under your control on your device. For information we do hold, such as emails you’ve sent us, you can ask us to access, correct or delete it, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to hello@tradyog.com with the subject “Privacy request”, and we’ll respond as soon as we can.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Tradyog grows, for example when we add new features or advertising. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
